Somashekar Srinivasa Raju is a highly skilled and experienced Group Engineering Manager with over 20 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, and payment technology platform development. He has a proven track record of building high-performance and scalable technology platforms to simplify logistics and supply chain management. Somashekar has hands-on implementation experience of payment applications, including card storage, key management systems, semi-closed wallets, payment gateway integration (FSS), direct bank integration (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS), merchant settlement, and reconciliation. He has also managed IT and product security compliance requirements for data security of payment applications in-line with PCI DSS version 3.0. He has exposure to the full life cycle of SCADA Server Product Development for Industrial and Building Automation domain, Remote Infrastructure Management solutions, Automated Demand-Response solutions for Smart Grid. He has also designed and developed Control & Monitoring System (CMS), Flight Plan Management System modules of Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS) for airports. Somashekar has excellent understanding of Industrial Automation domain protocols such as Modbus, Bacnet, IEC, OpenADR; and SCADA server development in C\C++; and Enterprise Service Oriented Architecture based SCADA applications using Java web technologies: web services, REST, BlazeDS, Hibernate, Quartz, and Jasper. He is a Six Sigma Process Green Belt Certified and has expertise in implementing quality solutions and maintaining robust, mission-critical applications using Six Sigma Tools and methodology. Currently, he is working as a Group Engineering Manager at turvo, where he is building high-performance scalable technology platforms to simplify logistics and supply chain management. Prior to this, he has worked as a Director of Technology at Shopclues and an Engineering Manager at Momoe. Somashekar holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering, where he graduated in 2002. He is a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in integration, web, infra, and Java.
